This beautiful handmade tote bag was originally a blanket, better known as a frazada in South America. The blanket is made by a Bolivian Cholita, using colors and patterns that respresent her community and village that she is from. Every frazada is made with the greatest care and takes approximately 3 weeks to create.
This fiercely colored frazada cought our eye in La Paz, the highest city of the world. It is rare to find a fabric that is in such good shape to make several bags, but this beauty could! So we have 2 limited Melón Tote Bags.
