San Pedro de Atacama is a Chilean town and commune located in the Atacama desert of northeast Chile–the driest non polar desert in the world. Beautiful highlights are the Valle de la Luna with impressive stone and sand formations which have been carved by wind and water, and the Los Flamencos National Reserve hosting various bird and mammals species.
